I hate to be the guy who picks apart a show but, honestly anytime i see something related to the military that is inaccurate, it bugs the crap out of me. So let the picking apart begin.

1. at 15:15 when Skinner is walking with who appears to be a general. Skinner is actually wearing a drill instructors uniform, without the hat(more on that in a minute) he is wearing the Marine Corps greens, also known as the alphas, if I'm not mistaken. The difference is that the drill instructor is actually a Marine and a drill Sergeant is a soldier(Army).

2. Though it is rare to see a drill sergeant(Army) wearing the smokey bear/campaign cover, they do wear them(that is the name of the hat skinner is wearing, to you civilians out there). It is more so a piece of Marine attire, exclusively a drill instructor's attire. skinner is not a drill sergeant.

3. Skinner had repeatedly informed bart that the last rank he held in the Army was sergeant, but if you notice his chevrons and rockers, he holds the rank of first sergeant...in the Marine corps. the diamond on his patch is closed(filled in) which only appears on the patch of a first sergeant in the Marine corps. The first sergeant rank in the Army has an open(unfilled in) diamond. though i may have missed if it was closed or open but there is a difference.

4. Skinner is much to old to re-enlist im fairly sure the oldest you can be to enlist is 35 and it may be the same for reenlistment.

anyway sorry to piss in everyones cornflakes but like i said anything about the military that i find that is inaccurate really chaps my ass

If only you spent this time actually helping someone in the military instead of pointing out the flaws in a CARTOON! Pathetic!

His dog didn't cost Skinner's job. His dog saved Skinner's job. Then Willie lost it. Well, actually it's all the superintendant's fault, because he's the one with the power to fire Skinner.

lol when baby bart was on the toilet and lisa started laughing for some reason her laugh sounded painful like each "ha" was swinging a blunt axe at (like a tree or a dying wolf or some mixture of the two)
