Well that a nice theory. But here's one of my favorite episodes: S12 E09 HOMR, watch it and you'll know the ACTUAL reason our beloved Homer is 'stupid' or as I like to think more intelligent than any of us. For he lives by the moment and is perfectly happy because of that.
As for Marge she's just an over caring mother.
As for your comment on women's intelligence I can only say that I can still feel the burn of you shoving your psychological gibberish down my throat. I'm also a guy but at least I know that there are many intelligent women that have no interest at all in competing for power in the sharklike business world to be underpayed (where men cry for the same attention). Now that's what I call smart!

I'm smart (and a guy no less), but I don't like school or talk about fractions the way most people talk about rock music on a daily basis. That's why females who claim they are as smart as any man have no power; they try to shove intelligence down our throats.
2. He speaks crazily because of the explanation given in this episode: he is trying to suppress strong emotions. Or maybe he just uses "diddily" to mask the fact that he stutters. Maybe.
3. I assume you mean "Why does Marge act like everyone else is a baby?" I'm not really sure about this one. Maybe she's one of those people who just wishes the whole world could be like a grade school playground - simple rules like "use your indoor voice" or "say please and thank you". I guess she just overdoes it, so her behavior (read: nagging) gets annoying.

5. No one knows about this one. I guess it's because we just associate the theme with a quality TV show, which makes the theme that much more memorable.

the reason parts are missing is cus' some of the ep's on this site were taped from local stations syndication of the show. They chopped many of the episodes up in order to run more commercials. That's one of the many reasons to buy the dvd's, or move to Canada where they don't chop up the episodes. That's not why i moved to Canada but it's made the transition easier :)
