this episode really contradicts "boy meets curl" episode...here Skinner is portrayed as an imposter, in boy meets curl, he's portrayed as the child who cost Agnes a gold medal when he was in her womb!!! its just horrible (you find me hardly complain about a Simpson episode, but yeahh)!!

Worst episode ever. Some more recent episodes are lacking in plot, but none of them quite so severely as The Principal and the Pauper. Not only was there no plot, the writing in general was terrible - there wasn't a single point in this episode that made me laugh. After the magic that was seasons five and six, this was a bitterly disappointing turn for the show. Before people start having a go at me for overplaying it, I would like to point out that almost everyone working on The Simpsons at the time shares my opinion. People left the show because of this episode. That's how bad it is.
