Without Family Guy people wouldn't be bitching about The Simpsons as much as they have been the last few seasons. i think they've forgotten that The Simpsons isn't just one joke after another but it had actually storylines that families could relate too, no matter how dysfunctional, or unique they may be. They need to relax a bit and just let the ideas come fresh.

Aging the characters a little would really help give the show a makeover.

Like have Maggie in pre-kindergarten or kindergarten and Bart and Lisa go up a grade or two. High school would be pushing it and might turn things into something like Degrassi...*shudder* lol

Family guy's great and I loved it. But The Simpsons made it and some people are so ungrateful lately.

it wasnt complete shit like all of season 18,19 and 20 this is a step in the rite direction and this time when they went into the past of homer and marge it wasnt complete shit that contradicts what they have already done for example 'that 90's show ' and the one where they supposedly met flanders for the first time ( that was one of the worst ever ) i am very happy i hope that matt groening stays off the crack and starts making the simpsons how it was meant to be again. :)

Yeh, I competely agree Paul. The last episode was terible, and this was definitely an improvement. They just cant make episodes as good as Lemon of Troy, Raging Abe Simpson, Mountain of Madness and Homer's Enemy anymore. Mainly cos they've already done practically every scenario.
