"kids don't like references they have to look up on wikipedia"... those references to the 60s and 70s that used to appear in the older episodes were amazing!!! now it's all about smartphones, apple, facebook... that opening where they had some crappy "trendy" song that I'm sure the kids love instead of the normal theme... I suppose it makes sense to keep up with the times for the new generation but is it really so necessary?

Bart seems that is no longer a rebel on this season. They have so many characters to make new stories and not profit, "disco stu, crazy cat lady, the army man etc etc.. One more thing, Carl, Lenny and Barney ... where are they? but just the fact to still making new episodes after 20 year is perfect and I just want to continue with this art

@numnum i agree with what you are saying they have ran out of ideas becuase they been since the Dinosaurs roamed the earth. if they would let us viewers send them our ideas to the show theyh might have a better shot for more creative shows besides having a guest star every week.

i saw all the simpsons episodes and the new ones are just rarely good ones.

heres example: homer is trying to win worlds best title of chess player and his final opponent is flanders, while marge buys... um.. lets say a hybrid car... idk.. lisa would be pretty happy about it i bet. but not lets just stay with 2 subjects as allways does the writers. In mean time, Bart and milhouse gets a job at starbucks.

gosh, dont make one more stupid episode about how kids save crusty, by even showing FAKE crustys past that has NOTHING to do with early old episodes when crustys past about how it was becoming clown, already was shown!!
